In a significant development, popular BTS member V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has been officially transferred to the 2nd Army Corps located in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, where he will serve as part of the Special Task Force in the Military Police Corps.
V successfully applied to join the prestigious Special Mission Team (SDT) after passing rigorous evaluations, including a comprehensive document screening, intensive interviews, and a demanding physical fitness test. His journey commenced on December 11th of the previous year when he entered the recruit training center.
During his time at the center, V underwent five weeks of fundamental military training. Following this, he proceeded to the Army Administrative School, a specialized training unit, where he completed an additional three weeks of comprehensive training. With the successful completion of the second phase, V was subsequently assigned to the esteemed 'Ssangyong Unit' within the 2nd Corps.
As an integral part of the Ground Operations Command, the 2nd Corps holds a vital role in the Army's operations. Moreover, V's specific posting places him within the Military Police Corps, a unit directly under the command of the 2nd Corps Headquarters. This responsibility showcases the trust and confidence placed in V's ability to contribute significantly to the military police force.
